Roof

Roof options

Your Three Bedroom is built with a full roof. Half roof options are unavailable unless you are creating a modular floorplan with a Cottage Studio. You can choose to extend your roof in specific areas if extending decking or for a carport.

Ieshahomes uses SIPS for roofing which attributes a large part to Ieshahome’s affordable housing. You choose the interior and exterior of your roof- or just go with the standard. Customise color and style. Read more on the roof and wall cladding page– you can find brochure images of the specific colours and styles here as well as more information on the SIP system.

Walls

Wall Options

Ieshahomes also uses SIPS for wall cladding. You choose the type of interior and exterior wall cladding for your home- or just go with standard. Customise color and style. Read more on the roof and wall cladding page– you can find brochure images of the specific colours and styles here as well as more information on the SIP system.

Foundation

Foundation Options

All our homes are built off the ground, raised with steel-sub flooring. Minimum 500mm – Maximum 3.6m. If requested, we can also build onto concrete slab. Ieshahomes chooses to primarily build on poles because of the many benefits that come along with it. Here’s a few reasons why you should choose to build on poles!

  1. Easily build on slopes, unstable foundations, or uneven ground.
  2. Make the most of beautiful views
  3. Less environmental impact, as well as a sustainable design.
  4. More space for you to live in and/or expand your Ieshahome
  5. Natural flow of rain means no flooding, ventilation, and they keep termites and other pests out.
Decking

Decking Options

If you choose to build on poles, you will have decking around your entrance area with stairs to access your house (or whatever works on your desired piece of land). If you choose to build on concrete slab decking is optional. Extra decking can also be added to your Three Bedroom. Specifically around the external of the living room/dining room which will extend the living space of your home. You can choose to extend your roof in specific areas for extra decking.

Carport

Carport Options

You can extend the roof of your home for a carport area. If you build on poles you can add a carport/driveway area to the underneath of your home. There is a great amount of space that becomes available when you build on poles, and our design allows for even extra bedrooms etc to be built underneath.

Modules

Modular Options

We build architectural new homes that are modern and expandable. Our designs are built to grow with your family and your life, so we design all our homes to be modular- this means you can configure multiple home designs together (ie; adding a granny flat). You could also purchase a half-roof Cottage Studio and configure it together with your Three Bedroom home with a roof and deck in between. This would create a 2nd dwelling- two separate living areas with a shared decking area. View our modules page to see more configuration examples.
